Again for the materials engineering discipline, CME (Computational Material Engineering), ONATUS is the distributor of the world’s leading software solutions in the field of computational materials engineering in Turkey. Using Thermo-Calc, our software solution with the most comprehensive thermodynamic and thermokinetic materials database repository in the field, over 10,000 papers were published in Class A journals in 2018 alone. In addition, METU, ITU, Boğaziçi, Sivas Cumhuriyet and Kocaeli Universities are institutions with significant experience and knowledge in the use of Thermo-Calc in Turkey.

Forge NxT and Thercast NxT

Especially for machinery and manufacturing-based academic research, ONATUS, under the title of “Virtual Manufacturing”, creates the necessary software infrastructure to create digital models of basic processes such as forging-heat treatment-rolling-extrusion and welding in computer environment and to carry out simulation studies before the relevant processes. Our partner in this field is Transvalor, an international software development company with roots in the Cemef Institute. With the software infrastructure we offer, possible test and trial burn costs are reduced, and the speed and quality of academic studies are significantly increased.

On the basis of finite element analysis, as ONATUS, we add strength to academic studies with our VPS software solution. In this context, university students can perform many analyses including strength, dynamic, electromagnetic, acoustic, CFD analysis with our VPS software solution, and by obtaining the relevant competencies in undergraduate and graduate degrees, they can work in the research and development and product development departments of the leading institutions of the sector.
